Officially, it is known as the Ned R. McWherter West Tennessee Cultural Arts Center. Locals simply call it “The Ned” and know it as the place to see the finest musical and stage acts in an intimate, high-technology equipped performance space.

The Ned provides a quality staging area of over 2,200 square feet, and an advanced pulley system for any type stage production. Special lighting for the theatre can be created, and a superior sound system and perfect acoustics highlights any performer.

The Ned also houses two galleries with exhibits that rotate every two months and is free to the public.
In addition to the 440-seat theatre, the cultural center houses two art galleries for traveling and local exhibits. Gallery space and meeting rooms are available for receptions, weddings, seminars and dinners.
