About Us

We build bold, purpose-driven digital experiences for small businesses, nonprofits, and mission-minded brands.

At HeartWired Digital Solutions, we don’t just design websites — we craft your digital presence from the ground up. From branding and social media to email marketing and reputation management, we create strategies that actually connect — not just convert.

You’re not just a client to us. You’re family. And we treat your mission like our own.

How We Got Started

I didn’t start HeartWired Digital Solutions because I love websites — I started it because I was tired of watching good people get burned by bad tech.

For over 20 years, I watched mission-driven businesses and nonprofits struggle to navigate a digital world that was supposed to help them — but instead left them overwhelmed, overcharged, and overlooked.

So I built the kind of company I wished existed back then — one that gives a damn. One that shows up, speaks human, and builds with heart and hustle.

HeartWired was born to bridge the gap between impact and innovation — to serve those who serve others with strategy, design, and support that’s actually worth a damn.

No fluff. No BS. Just digital solutions with soul.

The main reason I did was to first remove confusion as to the services we offered as unintentionally what I 'thought' was a great idea in concept was not received the same way publicly. I also had matured my brand and determined the story behind my brand and decided the original logos did not reflect the story. The biggest piece of advice and I say this as someone who rebrands other people's brands all the time. Take your idea, hire a professional, let them take you through their process. Many times our ideas are not as spot-on as they could be as we are too close to the brand. Lastly, always remember the brand is YOU and You are the brand..start with you first and the rest really does not matter.

We did see an increase in revenue as well as some great new clients this past year. We were nominated locally as best web page designer for the Best of Jax sponsored by Folio Weekly. We made the top 20 locally for out Jacksonville Business Journal and we are also nominated to be small business leader of the year for 2020 for the Jacksonville Regional Chamber or Commerce. Definitely a year of humbling recognition that affirm we are heading in the right direction going into the new year. We are looking for to an exciting 2020 with even more opportunities to help other small businesses and nonprofits design their brands online. Happy new year to all!

Many time business owners are solicited by people they have no connection with. If a friend asks them, they are more likely to get involved. Also, it helps if the team is active in the community. Being visible volunteering or doing a car wash many times you will encounter business owners who otherwise would not know the team exists.

As business owners, it is difficult to find the right method of payments, but we are not in the collections business (unless you are). Set expectations upfront, require deposits, make sure the client has skin in the game, charge late fees, make sure your contracts are clear. It is no fun chasing dollars when a client chooses not to pay. Depending on the value, you might be able to do small claims court but usually not going to be worth the time or headache. Best suggestion, cut your losses and use the space they occupied to be filled by a client you want to work with and wants to pay you accordingly.

Social media should always be a supplement to direct traffic with call to actions to your website. Provide value with each post that is relevant and engaging will see the most ROI. Keeping in mind that social media many times is more about your audience than it will ever be about you. Lastly, you own whatever content on your website you own none on Social media. I would personally suggest Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.. G+ is being phased out so that eliminates one as well.

You can generate traffic via social media or meta tags, but if you are looking to gain traction on consumers then a strategy might need to be implemented. Everyone knows Google loves well Google.. the more love you show them the more traffic they send you. This includes Google Adwords, writing search friendly content, redistribution of content and more. Traffic is only good if they are buying. Focus on who your client is and create a strategy for that niche.

Mix your mediums between social media and your own business website. Drive traffic to your site using social media and great content. Your clients are looking for the services or products you offer, gain their trust by offering value that they are not necessarily expecting via blog content, ebooks, whitepapers and overall great content on your website that you control. Repurpose that content for social media, email marketing and more.

As a web design agency many people are not shopping for a new site this time of year but are always running promos ,specials, seeking donations and more. Fortunately we are not really seasonal like other industries then again we are generally not an impulse buy for Christmas either.
