(more) I don't understand how or why we allow companies to provide our health care.  I guess it was back when people stayed with a company for "cradle to grave".  I really believe that health insurance is such a personal thing and it is the very most important insurance we purchase.  We purchase our own homeowners, car, life, appliance, death, identity theft, etc., insurances and the companies that provide these insurance are very competently priced and they make great offers and and pricing to get your business because of the competition.  I really believe that health insurance should be in the same category.  I learned long ago that I wanted to make the decisions on my health.   I really believe that if we took back the responsibility for our own health care insurance, that in a short time the insurance market would adjust their pricing and offerings to be competitive and we would not be tied to a company for life just because of health benefits and you could keep the same insurance for all of your life and not have to worry about changing  jobs or even occupations and not have to depend on a company or anyone else for health care especially when, at any moment, they can go bankrupt, close their doors, relocate or worse, fire you.  Unfortunately, we are in this situation for now.   But I believe that we can change it.  I offer my contractors an allotment towards their health insurance.  I encourage them to get their own insurance just as they would any other insurance.  I know most of you will disagree, but I believe that we personally should be responsible and control the most important insurance of all that we buy.  As you can see from the reposes, there are health insurance companies that want your business already out there.

The SBA and JSUB are great resource that are always ready to help you get started.

Set your mower on the correct height for your type of grass.  Never scalp you lawn.  Also, be sure you give it enough water.  The biggest mistake people make is thinking that it rained for 14 minutes and that is enough.  Is is not.  Hope this helps.

(more) Since we are in the service and product business, we give a referral discount on the cusotmer's yearly service only.  We make sure to recognize and thank our customers for any referral, but only offer the discount on their yearly service. I like to refer businesses that I trust to my customers if needed and I do not expect compensation, just that they service my customer as I would and give good and fair priced service to anyone that I recommend. We appreciate the word of mouth and most customers really appreciate the small discount on next years service. I it is just a little something as a thank you. I know that I like to look for discounts and sales so I think that my customers feel the same way.  We also believe that customer will refer us because they like us and our service and if they are continuing to invite us in their home each year for service, they must like us or they would go somewhere else.  I like to reward that type of customer loyalty.

(more) I studied hard and passed the Certified Pest Control Operators examinations for the State of Florida in 3 pest control disciplines including the the State of Florida pest control and mosquito laws.  I take Continuing Education Classes every year to keep abreast of the trends and innovations in the industry and I research and study ancient pest control methods to know how we did it in the past before all the chemicals and adapt that information into my services and products to be sure they are safe and effective.  Very important also, I listen to my customers and my technicians and their concerns and issues to improve our protocols and customer service and if I do not know the answer to one of their questions, I tell them straight out and then I do more research and consulting with experts to get the answer and communicate it back to the source of the question.  All my Technicians follow the same regiment and education to be sure they are as informed as we can be so we can provide the best and safest pest control treatment for them and our customers.  Standing behind you word and your guarantee is the best way your can keep your customers and technicians happy and trusting. As my Mother told me.  "Say what you mean and mean with you say." You can never stop learning and changing.  Go Green, Gina
