Marino, Menz & Company, LLC is a family accounting firm established in May 1993.
Thomas Marino, the founder, started his career as an internal auditor for the retail industry. For several years, he was also a controller for a clothing manufacturer. After working many years in the garment district in NYC, Tom decided it was time for him to go out on his own. He built this practice from the ground up on multiple levels.

In 2004, Tom’s daughter, Melissa Menz, joined the firm after graduating from Hofstra University with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science majoring in Accounting. Melissa brought some of her own work experience as she worked with some smaller firms in previous years.

They were a great team for 14 years. After over 40 years in the industry, Tom started to slowly retire in 2018. Today Melissa runs the company in her father’s memory with everything he stood by and taught her. The firm has since acquired full and part time associates.
