Real Estate is probably not a "job" you hear jokes about but - many people think a Realtor is over paid with the big commission they get. I would challenge them to stop and add up all the money and time it takes them to get a sale through. They get a percentage of the commission (not the whole thing), they pay board dues, MLS fees, continuing education fees, renewal fees, extra liability insurance and higher rate of insurance since they "haul" people around. I'm sure if I give it some thought I could come up with more - but you get the picture. No not a funny business I guess we're just plain dull. Happy New Year!
