How We Got Started

Growing up in Hawaii, where everything flourishes, I was surrounded by the vibrant beauty of the natural world. My parents had a small plant nursery on our land, and from a young age, I helped grow a variety of plants. This hands-on experience allowed me to quickly understand the environment and appreciate the importance of being educated about the plants that support our very existence.
At age 27, driven by this passion, I decided to start Kohala Tree Service LLC. My goal is to provide community members with professional tree care services that reflect a deep respect for nature.
Today, we are proud members of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), continually educating ourselves and our community about best practices in tree care. At Kohala Tree Service, we are dedicated to nurturing nature with precision and care, ensuring that our local landscapes remain healthy and beautiful for generations to come.
