Self-defense is largely psychological-it's shifting attitudes and awareness of self, others, and space. It's learning boundaries and assertive communication; for some, that means finding their voice-for others it means learning to communicate in a way that they can be heard. The physical techniques allow for a deeper connection to and self-mastery while also requiring the ability to work with respect and attunement to others.
