I'm a criminal defense lawyer. For 23 years, I was an Assistant Federal Public Defender. I have been in private practice since 2008. I only accept federal criminal cases. I focus on the client & the evidence. First, I provide the bad news, that is the worst possibilities. Then, things get better as the case proceeds. I give my clients hope, but not false hope. The federal criminal system is brutal and clients need to be prepared for the parade of horrors that may ensue. It's important to me that my clients be prepared as the case progresses and be satisfied at the conclusion, knowing that they have had effective representation.
