Our founder and head brewmaster Wayne Greenfield was a winemaker getting ready to start a winery. In 2012, Wayne accidentally discovered kombucha. He started brewing it at home, as well as tasting all of the different brands and flavors he could find. Wayne, and his then 5 year old son, Sam, shared a passion for food and the ability to discern the different flavors. Wayne decided that kombucha would be their future. By bringing his winemaker skills and passion for food to kombucha, he set out to make unique, bold and refreshing flavors better than anyone else.
