I see a vineyard, winery and tasting room on the 100 acres where the event venue is located. Therefore, my best chance of selling this property is to visit wineries locally and in other areas and talk to the owners. Although they may not be interested, they socialize with people who dream of owning such a place.  This is also true with listing homes in neighborhoods you farm. Know the people. A successful Realtor develops relationships with homeowners they enjoy being with. Those relationships bring him or her business with like buyers and sellers.

I agree with Louann. Begin with the people you know. You will be comfortable talking with them. When they ask questions or even give negative feedback, it is easy to be honest. Recently, I was showing a gentleman a house. We were in the back yard when his phone rang. It was his wife. She was with another Realto a few streets over. It is in your best interest as a buyer to work with one agent. Be loyal to him/her. In turn, you will be given excellent service. I will be glad to explain the benefits of selecting an agent and working exclusively with them.
