Friends In Need Health Center, Inc. is a Faith-based 501(c)3 Non-Profit that seeks to provide professional medical, dental, and pharmaceutical healthcare to the uninsured and under-insured of Northeast TN and Southwest VA.
How We Got Started
Friends In Need Health Center opened its doors in 1995 when community leaders identified the need for healthcare services for the medically under-served people living and working in the greater Kingsport area.
Over the years, we have grown from 500 patient visits in 1995 to an expected 4,500 in 2021. We have helped over 116,000 people in the past 27 years.
