I agree with Geno, this platform has done absolutely nothing for my business. NOT A SINGLE REFERRAL - EVER! It is nice to be recognized and recommended by some of our customers here, but it has not been enough to make me want to waste any of my valuable time here. FB is not really much better, I have spent money on that platform and it has not done much for me either, again no referrals no business from any social media platform, ever!! The only thing that has worked for my business is SEO, local search and Google reviews. Which is why I am rebuilding my website and do my best to keep it up to date. The majority of my business comes from referrals from existing happy customers. They are priceless.

Word of mouth is essential in my business. I get a lot of referrals from satisfied customers. Networking, letting others know about your business and what you have to offer, and letting others get to know you. Sometimes that's difficult to schedule but I believe it is essential. Good connections...

Word of mouth is essential in my business. I get a lot of referrals from satisfied customers. Networking, letting others know about your business and what you have to offer, and letting others get to know you. Sometimes that's difficult to schedule but I believe it is essential. Good connections can be great ambassadors for you and your business. I believe a key ingredient is to be genuine, be yourself, people are very intuitive and will pick up on that. I enjoy meeting new people and getting to know a little about them. I spend so much time in my shop that's it's like a home to me. When a customer walks in our door, it's like welcoming a new friend who came by for a visit.
