Matt has always been a stand up guy, who places a huge emphasis on family, community and running a top notch, honest business. Proper Appraisals sets the standard of how an appraisal business should be conducted, and I have full confidence that it will continue. With that being said, I've joined the Proper Appraisal team, and in the process of finishing my training to become a fully licensed Residential appraiser! If I wasn't a veteran, I would have found a smaller more local bank to use.  $12 a month is ridiculous, and predatory.  (more) If I wasn't a veteran, I would have found a smaller more local bank to use.  $12 a month is ridiculous, and predatory.

Our business has always been online and through social media.  The biggest implementation since this all started is offering free delivery within 20 miles of our location.  We just copied the restaurant model, and it has worked. Our customers are hesitant to pick up from our location.  We've followed what many restaurants are offering, free delivery, and electronic payment via Paypal, Chase/Zelle, and Venmo.  It allows us to take care of the client needs, free up space, and settle any remaining balance. (more) Thank you for your service as a fire fighter.  I am a wood working business owner myself, and know the struggles can be very stressful.  My advice is to learn how to take professional pictures.  Great pictures sell.  There are plenty of ways of learning how to become a better photographer.  Photography classes, Youtube, talk to a friend who's into photography, etc.  You will also need to figure out who your market is, and how to market to them.  Each of the social media pages has analytics that will break down the demographics for you.  Paying for ads on FB works, but you need a large following for it to really pay dividends.  If you have a few hundred people following your page, the chances of selling are slim.  Find your old customers, and have them follow you on social media, write a google, yelp, and FB review.  Not only will this be seen immediately by people who follow your page (and their friends), you will increase your SEO through google, which will draw more people to your product. I've made a living off selling cornhole sets.  If I can do it, anyone can.  Especially someone of your caliber!
