Deuxième Vie means second life!

We are an environmental nonprofit trying to keep materials out of the landfill that could instead be used to create upcycled art giving these items a chance at a second life. We sell these items to anyone bit by the creativity bug. Some items are just taken home to be loved just as they are.

We have added a darkroom and studio space which can be rented via yearly membership or by short time passes.

When I moved back to Lafayette in 2016 I was looking for studio space to do my repurposed art but couldn't find anything. Then realizing that I had more items to repurpose than I could possibly ever complete I decided to sell off my materials. I rented our original space on Jefferson St and put everything I had into that space and welcomed all the artists of Lafayette but also aspiring artists on a budget. As they say "The rest is history!".
