I have maintained a private psychotherapy practice in Lafayette for over 25 years. Additionally, I have provided consulting services to law professionals, educational institiutions including the Lafayette Parish School System, Acadia Parish Head Start, and Vermilion Head Start. Friedberg Counseling Associates currently oversees the Employee Assistance Program for Lafayette Consolidated Government.

I started my private practice on a part-time basis in 1995 after returning to my home town of Lafayette, La. Initially, I joined my psychologist father, Dr. Ted Friedberg in his office, before building my practice and opening my own office. Having spent the first eight years of my career practicing in the state of Georgia, I returned home with experiences, skills and knowledge to share in my community.
