It really depends on the application and design. I prefer screen shades with cordless lift. If it is for a window that is used daily in residential or a commercial space, motorization is the preferred choice.

The quality and ease with install is key. A kitchen/bath renovation of any size is a detailed project that takes weeks. When the cabinets are installed the client can see the "light", realizing it is coming together! If there is an issue, designer and cabinet supplier must be able to resolve...
