Interior Designers, like other businesses like this suffer from a perception of being way too expensive. People fail to recognize that new ideas are what bring rooms, homes or offices to life. Unless you can demonstrate that you have an eye for arrangement that WOWs your clients, it will be difficult to move beyond this point.

Go to school on your clients.  Where do you do your best, most transformational work, and for whom?  Don't be shy about your specialty, promote it!  Be known as the designer that specializes in certain situations. Once people understand how remarkable your abilities are, you will have more than enough clients to work with.
