Jackie Cannon opened her dream flower shop, Flowers by Jackie, in 1977. Sadly, two years later she suddenly passed away. In 1980 Pat Tyrrell, dear friend of Jackie, moved from Petaluma to Lakeport and purchased the shop. Pat kept Jackie's name and ran the shop successfully for 44 years! In 2023 Pat retired and Tammi Matthias purchased the shop, moving from Sonoma County to Lake County, making a major career change, leaving her nonprofit career behind. More than 2 years later, Tammi has moved the shop to a larger location and has expanded business to include more plants, outdoor plants, plant leasing, workshops, gifts, decor and more.
