Financial Coaching for Midlife Women by Sabrina Alton | Local Business Person of the Year | Insight Financial Coaching, LLC
Insight Financial Coaching helps midlife women step into their role as family CFO with confidence and clarity. My philosophy is simple: Know Yourself. Know Your Money.
I'm Sabrina, and I specialize in helping women who are managing household finances for the first time or struggling with money management despite doing "all the right things." My clients include divorced, separated, or widowed women navigating financial independence, stay-at-home mothers (including empty-nesters) seeking financial confidence, and women with ADHD who find traditional budgeting creates shame rather than solutions.
My Approach
I combine practical money management skills with understanding the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors driving your financial decisions. Using a forward-looking planning method and a financial personality quiz, I help you build systems that match how you actually think and make decisions.
Traditional financial advice tells you to budget, save, and invest. But what happens when you can't follow through? That's where I come in. My coaching addresses why you make the financial choices you do, helping you understand your money patterns without judgment or shame, and is there with you as you do the things you've been avoiding. I don't believe in rigid budgets or one-size-fits-all approaches. Instead, I help you create a spending plan that supports your season of life and that feels empowering rather than restrictive. We focus on asking, "Is this moving me closer to or further from the life I want for myself?"
Who I Work With
You might be my ideal client if you're:
-> Managing money alone after divorce, separation, or widowhood
-> A stay-at-home mother wanting financial independence and confidence
-> Someone with ADHD who needs money systems that work with your brain
-> Financially stable but still anxious about money
-> Looking for a second pair of eyes on your finances or someone to discuss major decisions with
-> Ready to understand why you think and feel the way you do about money
My Coaching Philosophy
I treat you as a capable person who needs skills and systems, not shame and judgment. I believe you already have the answers within you; my job is to help you access them while teaching practical money management skills.
Whether you're navigating a major life transition, breaking negative money cycles, or simply want reassurance you're on the right path, I'm here to help you build confidence as your family's CFO.

I understand financial dependence because I lived it. As a stay-at-home mom, I gave up my financial independence to focus on raising my family.
I've always loved learning, and I kept coming back to personal finance and psychology. I was fascinated by why we make the financial decisions we do and how our thoughts and emotions drive our money behaviors.
I went through the Financial Coach Academy and launched Insight Financial Coaching in 2023. Like my clients, I'm rebuilding my financial independence. I know the vulnerability of financial dependence and the courage it takes to manage money on your own terms.
I focus on women because I'm passionate about closing the gender wealth gap. Women earn less, take career breaks for caregiving, and live longer. As a mom of two teen daughters, I'm determined to model financial confidence and help women succeed financially.
If you're ready to rebuild your financial confidence and step into your role as family CFO, I'm here to walk alongside you.
