yes you will have to wait for open enrollment when you start with a new carrier.However, if you have been added to your husband’s policy, you should have coverage. Also, check with the new company to see if the company requires waiting for open enrollment.

This is a difficult situation, however, there is always a solution. I think there should be a talk with the parents. They need to understand the position that the daughter is in and her perspective and the position that her parents are in being her boss. A mediator might be necessary. If this...
