Recent Activity
I don't anticipate it being safe any time soon to meet in person. Even a well run yoga class in a large space does not lend itself to social distancing. I am proceeding, reluctantly, with Zoom classes which will lessen the impact some.

I don't anticipate it being safe any time soon to meet in person. Even a well run yoga class in a large space does not lend itself to social distancing. I am proceeding, reluctantly, with Zoom classes which will lessen the impact some.
In terms of reopening and "flattening the curve" we should all remember that term only means that doctors MAY have enough capacity to deal safely with the level of death. This isn't pretend, no matter how much we may want it to be. Have you ever needed a doctor? Do you anticipate ever needing one in your life? Then let's protect them and each other and give this the time it needs. Obviously "the cure is not worse than the disease" since the disease is causing death. It's hard to wrap our brains around it, but more people have now died in the U.S. than the entire population of Grand Junction, CO.
I have completely shut down my business of teaching yoga for the next several weeks. Lakewood United Church of Christ, where I teach has also canceled all public gatherings. I have no doubt this is the right thing to do now.
