About Us
Founded in 1968 by the Mennonite community, Tabor is a nonprofit community agency which offers a comprehensive continuum of 18 housing and financial counseling programs and services for residents of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Tabor plays a central role in Lancaster County in preventing and responding to homelessness, assisting those who aspire to home ownership, and in counseling those struggling to manage their personal finances. Tabor serves 4,600 individuals annually.
Tabor has been a HUD-approved Housing Counseling Agency since 1971 and a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling since 1988. Tabor has been accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) since 1998.
