Sean's path to counselling came through service. Nine years in the Canadian Armed Forces, then pastoral ministry and leadership of The Mustard Seed Street Church. Along the way he ran a small plumbing business, kept showing up for people in hard moments, and slowly recognised that the conversations he was having on the side of the road and in church basements were the work he was meant to do. He completed his Master of Divinity at Carey College in 2022 and his Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University in 2025. Introspectus Counselling opened in Colwood, BC the same year.
