I had spent almost 20 years as a Therapist working with People's Problems...Now as a Coach, I began working with People's Possibilities. For me...that was much more enriching and satisfying. It 'clicked' almost immediately during the first Certification Class that I was taking. Since that time it has proven to be the correct choice as I see the results of what my clients are achieving. The story would much longer than this...because 'I'm Older Than Dirt'!

I have started 2 educational institutions, 2 successful businesses and as I look back I don't remember at any time the thought of 'almost quitting'. Each one of those engagements came about because I wrote out the pros/cons of each...I believed in my set of skills/talents...and then believed that this is what God wanted me to do. People are good to encourage when things are going well but question if we should...because most of them would never take on the challenge. So...super glad to see that you are moving ahead and also realize this...there are people who would never take a risk (they believe it would not be a healthy move, etc.) and then there are people with personalities who love the possibility of risks. I just have to understand where I land and then move ahead as I believe I am led. To Your Success, Doc

All of us get 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. No more...No less. The single-most limiting factor in the completion of our objectives - is time. People say 'time is money', but nothing could be further from the truth...you can save money - you cannot save time. We need to keep this thought in front of us: There will always be more things to do than time to do them in. What this fact means for all of us is that we must make 'choices' regarding our time. So, one of the things that I was taught and continue to learn is that I have to control those choices. With those choices I use my "One Percent Solution". Let me share those Steps with you. STEP ONE: Devote 30 minutes one time each week to evaluate the past week and plan the next week. STEP TWO: Identify 4-6 areas of your life, both personally & professionally that are your HIGHEST PRIORITIES. STEP THREE: Target 1 or 2 of the most important steps of action to accomplish this week for each priority area. STEP FOUR: Schedule your top priority steps of action first in your calendar for the week. STEP FIVE: Devote 5 minutes each day to adjust your schedule and realign with your priorities. I take all of my clients through this SECOND HABIT OF MY 5 HABITS encouraging them to make this the most important meeting of the week. Do I do this every week...NO, I'm Human! But I do work at it.
