About Us

With a community publication that is "social media in print", we create a positive relationship between the homeowners and their local businesses. We create a friendly neighborhood out of a subdivision by featuring local families on the cover, print articles written by the residents, provide free classifieds for kids and adults, include a kid's section, real estate section, pet's section, calendar of local events and include favorite family recipes.

How We Got Started

After a career in the corporate technical sales/marketing/engineering world, I wanted to help support my local community by creating a high quality community publication that unites the community and provides a platform for local businesses, HOA's, charities, and non-profits to raise the awareness by the local homeowners by letting them educate the homeowners on what they do and what makes their business or organization unique.

As a 26 year resident of Lawrenceville, I love to support the local businesses and Alignable is my favorite organization to meet and connect with the Owners and other members of each business. Many online communications tend to emphasize negative reviews and we never know if they are true. I... (more) As a 26 year resident of Lawrenceville, I love to support the local businesses and Alignable is my favorite organization to meet and connect with the Owners and other members of each business. Many online communications tend to emphasize negative reviews and we never know if they are true. I spend time on NextDoor as well and Post many messages praising the work of local businesses and ask people to Post at least one Post a month, or a week if possible, telling their neighbors of a great business that has  earned their repeat business. My thanks to all that our Local Alignable does to make communications with other businesses easy and productive.   I hope to see many of you at the Alignable networking event at Dillon’s on April 22 at 11:30 -1:00. Tell your friends as well.

Large corporations reach out in a general, national perspective. To counter that, follow the 3M Marketing strategy to reach your ideal prospects. The three M's are Market, Media and Message. Choose the Market where your ideal clients live. For example, all affluent homeowners that live in... (more) Large corporations reach out in a general, national perspective. To counter that, follow the 3M Marketing strategy to reach your ideal prospects. The three M's are Market, Media and Message. Choose the Market where your ideal clients live. For example, all affluent homeowners that live in Virginia Highlands, GA. Then select the media that reaches those homeowners. A national survey showed that 76% of the responders said that a private community publication is the best way to reach a specific market by providing a private mail-only publication to those homeowners on a consistent and frequent monthly basis, to create TOMA, Top of Mind Awareness, for a specific product and/or service. And finally, Message,  with the eyes of the community on a business on a monthly basis, communicate that you are a local, independent, and often a family owned business that supports that community. Creating a reciprocally positive bond between businesses and homeowners will show dividends as people like to do business with people they know. The customer service provided by local businesses to the local homeowners is as good, and usually better than national businesses.
