It is very important to know that you can't do it on your own and being with a group of like-minded people is amazing. In groups, you learn from each other and gain tremendous insight. The groups include everyone even if we are at different levels in our business.
I don't think I would still be around if it wasn't for joining the group I am in now.

More and more people are looking for online work/business. These people need some help with their online presence and other areas of online networking tips so I have shifted my focus from the travel biz to helping people on LinkedIn and growing my downline there. The travel biz is shut down due to the virus.

I use LinkedIn 98% of the time. LI is different then other social media platforms. Though LI is called a social network it is all about business.
People(businesses) on LI are there looking for a business or product(s).

I do not drink either and would think that the client is very rude to keep insisting. That would raise a big red flag and politely say no I don't drink.
If your client is coming to your event just for drinks then he will not be much of a client or relationship builder and I would be cautious.

I always shop local. I live in a community of such talented artists. From soaps and creams to high end art of every sort. Shopping local is what keeps the community vibrant and thriving.

Don't expect to make the sale on the first meet. Ask questions and wait for the answer. Dig a bit deeper. Ask more questions. Find exactly how you can help them. They don't want to hear whats in the product or how great the company is doing, they want to know how you can help them and to do that...

We live on the North Shore of the Shuswap Lake. Water, mountains trees and wildlife. A walk up the trail does wonders and on bad weather days my little play room.
