My journey started in the heart of small business. My husband and I owned and operated The Original Smokey Goodness Bar & Grill, where I wore every hat and experienced firsthand the pressure, pride, and unpredictability that come with building something from the ground up. That experience shaped how I see business owners today—driven, resourceful, and often carrying more than people realize.
After years in consultative sales and relationship-driven roles, a layoff from a position I loved became a turning point. It pushed me to find work that aligned with both my skills and my passion for supporting small business.
That’s what led me to Thryv. The mission felt personal. Today, I work alongside business owners to simplify how they operate, strengthen visibility, and build systems that support sustainable growth.
