About Us
Custom Stationery Design Studio; specializing in wedding and social invitations, custom favors and promotional products. I have been in business since 2004, and in Levittown since 2008. I am wedding wire rated, Couples Choice award winner since 2012, and a verified Etsy seller.
How We Got Started
I enjoyed doing things for my own wedding in 2004, and always liked being crafty (doing party favors and such for friends.) I had started out doing edible favors, but added invitations in 2006. I do mostly wedding and mitzvah invitations.

valentine's day. Only b/c Christmas is too insane with family and logisitics. Im not sure I would do either day though. My anniversary is in May and I'd prefer a spring renewal.

Ceci NY is huge for the couples with big budgets. Carlson Craft I think is one of the larger album companies. So many of them have folded or Carlson Craft bought their albums.

I set myself apart by the service I give to my customers. We work closely in the design of their invitations. I always try to recommend things that are within their budget and within what they are comfortable spending. Everyone wants to feel valued. My customers have routinely come back to me for repeated events in their lives. Weddings to births, baptisms, etc. I have a lot of bar / bat mitzvah clients that come back for their other children every few years. Referalls from these clients to new clients has been my best source of advertising and I believe that is b/c of the service level I give clients. You want to give your customers value, and make them feel valued.
I would like people to say that I did my best to create something that they were envisioning. That I provided a high level of service. Most of my stationery clients come from past brides and grooms; or moms of mitzvah children. Word of mouth from past clients is by far the best form of...

at the end of the year I used to send out a thank you packages to customers. Either a small edible treat (some years it was branded sugar cookies, or foil wrapped chocolate bars, lip balms, etc. branded with my info) and a thank you card. I have not done in the past two years just b/c I take on less work b/c of my full time job and it just to became too much to do. The postage costs also add up to quite a bit. I would also send gifts to the suppliers that I bought a lot from during the year. Because they are usually the ones that will ship something out for me same day in a pinch, or upgrade my shipping if needed..things like that. So I would always send them a little something too.

Most of my reviews are housed on wedding wire. I have reviews on etsy as well. I've been lucky and havent had too many crazy reviews to deal with. Most times if you have the majority good reviews and then you see some bride / couple writing something really harsh, I think (or hope) people see that it was a one off, or maybe that reviewer was just hard to please. My issue is getting clients to go back and leave a review after their event. Even with sending out links via wedding wire, not many people take the time to write a review.

Bought a design from an Etsy seller. She installed it for me. I am in the process of loading product and customizing it. Its taking me forever. Woocommerce is the e-commerce part of it that I installed, along with some other product add on and customization options (gravity forms, etc). I like it because there is a lot out there for wordpress.org hosted sites to customize things that you need. I do invitations and stationery so I need some customization for clients. Its also easy to link a blog from wordpress.com to the .org side.

Print is not dead! I work (and have spent my career) in book production / manufacturing. For a while there the focus of publishers was Ebooks and how to make the ebook product first and print product secondary. at its highest a few years ago Ebooks were 30% of HarperCollins sales and Printed was 70%; Ebooks have flattened out and maybe 15% of our sales. Print is still the main product. For my own business I used to do postcard mailings with marketing lead lists, but for the brides and age group I am targeting these days, I don't think it is useful any more.
