With over a decade of experience working with children with special needs and a strong educational background in psychology and special education, I’m dedicated to supporting families on their journey. I hold a B.S. in Psychology from Towson University and an M.Ed. in Special Education, with an emphasis in applied behavior analysis, from Texas Tech. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis at Capella University, deepening my expertise to further benefit the families I work with.
In my years as an ABA practitioner, I noticed a critical need for families to have practical, compassionate guidance they can trust. I started Shine Behavior Consulting with the vision of bridging the gap between families and evidence-based interventions. My goal is to help parents feel confident and comfortable with the tools they need to support their child or adult’s growth and development. Shine is here to provide the guidance and support you deserve.
Shine Behavior Consulting began after noticing a significant gap in support for parents navigating the challenges of raising children and adults with special needs. Through both graduate and doctoral studies, it became clear that many parents lacked access to evidence-based guidance and practical tools that could empower them in their day-to-day interactions. This insight inspired the creation of Shine to bridge this gap, offering parents the support, confidence, and resources they need to foster their child’s growth.
