About Us

DieselPro is a shop management software package for auto and heavy diesel truck service centers and independent repair shops. Shop work orders are easily converted to accounts receivable invoices. Complete audit trails are maintained from when service is started until full payment has been received.

Parts, labor, plus verbiage detailing specific work performed becomes a permanent part of the work order, which may be re-printed at anytime.

Summary and detailed vehicle service history reports may be quickly generated. Shop analysis reports provide management with critical information that can affect inventory, and job assignments, with the objective of improving profits.

Clients may access their private and secure data 24/7 from any location via Internet connectivity, on the IBM Cloud at a reasonable monthly hosting fee.

How We Got Started

With the introduction of personal computers in the late '70s, it became apparent PCs had the potential of becoming a valuable asset to companies with customized software. This was in the DOS world before Microsoft Windows set a new standard. Upgrading custom software from DOS to Windows proved to be almost impossible without a complete rewrite. Making the choice to change our operating system to MS Windows early on, helped to insure our success from 1986.

We have developed relational database programs for the heavy truck repair industry, and provide cloud hosting for our clients. This gives them remote access, anytime, anywhere via Internet connectivity. The type data and how it is sourced or generated would be another factor. Audio and video data storage is more complex than simple text and numeric data. The third factor would be how often and how quickly will you need to retrieve specific data. This should be determined before the file structure is committed and before any code is written. We have used Topspeed/Clarion for many years with no regrets.
