My specialty is making Elvis satin scarves and Elvis puffy sleeved shirts and Elvis DEA Track Suits.

How We Got Started

I got started by sewing fashion accessories and going to craft shows. It wasn't until I had attended an Elvis show and realized that there was no one making scarves in London, Ontario, for Elvis tribute artists, and that it how I began my "Elvis" accessories. I now custom make shirts, track suits and continue to supply Elvis tribute artists with scarves, shirts and track suits. I am now internationally known and enjoy working with all the tribute artists from around the world - across Canada, the United States, Germany, and Australia to date.

I sew for Elvis Tribute Artists, and I make fashion accessories. At the moment, I am making fabric masks during the COVID-19 pandemic.

It doesn't affect me at all. My customers are all online, so closures are not affecting me; if anything, since I sew masks, has increased business for me, locally and internationally. My business is from home. I have never closed. I have a porch drop off for all my orders. My business is not where I see (or need to see) a lot of customers, they are all online orders. I use Square for all my transactions (including invoicing online internationally). It works great. You have four options: 1. take a smaller profit margin, 2. increase your product accordingly, 3. negotiate your cost with the manufacturer, especially if you are purchasing in bulk, or 4. find another manufacturer. Sometimes #4 is the difficult one.  In my business, I sew custom items for my clients. My cost is reflective of what I pay for the fabric. The other important cost for me is shipping. As you know couriers increase their prices on an annual basis; this you cannot negotiate (and I make my customers aware of this). I really don't have a problem.
