About Us

Who are We?

- Established in 1995, London Medical Transportation Systems (LMTS) has a long and successful history of providing “premium” non-emergency wheelchair and ambulatory services throughout Southwestern Ontario. LMTS serves the unique mobility needs associated with our medical, legal and insurance communities as described below;

- Medical Community (medical appointments directed by medical practitioners or government; Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP), Veterans Affairs Canada, Health Care Case Management teams, Occupational Therapists), Blue Cross

- Legal Community (medical appointments directed by law firms related to personal injury cases, with passengers potentially of all ages),

- Insurance Community (medical appointments directed by insurers related to policy claims; life/disability/auto)

- Senior community (medical appointments, stay with clients as needed at medical appointments, Shopping, special events, church services, and group tours.

How We Got Started

We started over 25yrs ago out of a need to transport people who are unable to travel with regular transportation providers and were not very successful in getting to there appointments safe and on time. We take the extra mile to make sure our clients have a positive experience while travelling with us. We simply wanted to make a difference to the injured going to physio or seniors wanting to go shopping or to medical appointments. We provide wheelchair and Ambulatory transportation.

None of them. They all lie, take more then they need and are not there when you need them most. They think everyone is out to commit fraud. Very, very bad service generally. Payments go in one direction and that's to the Insurance company. They hate paying out any claims. I could go on and on but... (more) None of them. Our business for both seniors and medical transports dropped about 60%. Last week we saw some movement and bookings are starting to come back up very slowly. I have great confidence things will turn around very soon as folks can only stay home for so long. Have faith, we will all get through this...
