Why is Alignable getting into the business of politics?

It is about businesses. Trump is for businesses and supporting mom and pop companies.

Biden has never worked a day in his life. Has no clue what it means to work for a living. Whereas Trump has a successful business and knows what businesses need.

It has very little to do with the religion of political parties.

Trump was and still is a classic liberal, like JFK and McKinley, for prosperity. Every prosperity president was either shot or character assassinated by the greedy politicians. Trump was cutting off their gravy train of stealing government money so they hate him.

Trump was a democrat for most of his life, but when the dems became so destructive, greedy, power crazy, harmful to life, he left to see if he could do something to correct the path of USA towards economic destruction.

I don't vote, have not voted since 1980, because most all I voted for killed people. So I stay away, just observe it.

If you don't vote then you get more clear perspective on what is going on, because your vote is sort of a baptism into some political religion and you will do all you can to make your vote "good". If you don't vote there is no attachment to any of this.

The article does say it is
"Alignable's Spring 2024 Political Report"

So I guess it does have its place on this site. I don't think it is something to be upset about. It is just stating the fact that small business owners are leaning towards one candidate that they feel will help them as small business owners.

It actually has a lot to do with small businesses. But we are so polarized as a society by the media, we get easily upset over "political" topics.

Interpreting the emotional response of others in e-discourse is bound to be fraught with errors. I am not upset; I am simply stating my opinion. Your opening statement reveals superficial analysis of the impact of this type of rhetoric on this platform. The spirit of Alignable was free from political discourse and bias, distinguishing it from other platforms. It is new relative to other SM platforms and could make a defining brand differentiation. The direction of the post being examined, is a gateway to more of the same... leading us to the type of poorly-evidenced posts we see on LinkedIn, Facebook, etc. In truth these types of summary posts of poll data offer little of the statistical information needed to accurately assess the data for bias, sampling errors, etc.; therefore, they offer inadequate information to assess overreach of summary conclusions. But they sit on the internet as part of the foundational narrative. There may be 9 million Alignable members, but there are 333 million people in the US alone; a sample set from this platform (especially without information describing the statistical manner in which it was obtained) does not speak for them, nor does it speak for all small businesses and non-profits (also a component of Alignable but not mentioned in the summary post) in the country. I never need other peoples' opinions to determine my actions in the voting booth. I can think through the impact of candidate positions regardless of party affiliation, not only on my business, but my life and my community. Thanks.
