About Us

The Dreamweaverarts Organization is an nonprofit independent arts organization which is not interested in creating profits, but in becoming a benefit to the community while making the arts more accessible to individuals. Sometimes the difference between a good creative life and a life of unending chaos is for someone or an organization to show that there is a better way. We want to be one of the solutions to the many problems our society face today; by using the most powerful tool that we have the Arts! The power of the arts is truly amazing in that they have the power to change people’s lives and make their community a better place to live. The Dreamweaverarts Organization is about making the lives of people in the community better, but more importantly it is about creating a better future for the generations to come.To do this we are:

Creating programs for at risk, underprivileged, and LGBTQ youth along with experienced citizens.
Developing and creating The Dreamweaver Artist Ranch.
Creating community events, performances, workshops, lectures, and festivals.
Supporting artists from around the world and their work.
Supporting and showcasing the arts in all its forms.
Supporting and nurturing journalism among the youth.

We want to continue to reach out with the mission of making a difference and helping those in need. While continuing to fine those rare and amazing voices who have the power to change not only the way we think, but also the very society we are a part of.

How We Got Started

For me art is a catalyst for what is required to live in a world with the goal of advancing mankind, improving the environment and creating a better way of life. It is at the center of the evolution of culture and society. This why I created Dreamweaverarts . I feel it was my responsibility to realize my Mother’s dream to create a place where artists can come and find a supportive community ready to help them. It is my goal, whether the work of Dreamweaverarts has to do with the arts the environment, political, or social issues, that it will cause a ripple effect that will benefit the community and society as a whole.

(more) We are not impacted by the The virus because we are a cultural arts organization that specializes in showcasing independent artist and there expression. I have contributors from all over the world. There has been a bit of a slow down but besides  that we are still going strong. I Can personally tell you that the virus is not a hoax. Is real because we have people in many different countries. They are not only witnessing it but also experiencing it. Why so many countries are able to stay open while others are not is because of how they handled the crisis in the first place. They also have protective measures in place for their workers and citizens. They have health benefits and monetary benefits that their citizens can take advantage of without any ramifications . We have not done no if we have any of this in place . If you want to be the cause of other people getting sick and creating a greater risk to the public then by all means open, but if you want to be a community benefit then please do not put other peoples lives at risk. I have seen this and my colleagues have seen the impact of this virus and it is not a fluke. What David Thomas Of creative solutions and others like him are saying is not true and it can put a lot of people risk! There is no business if everyone is sick.

But from a personal point of you I believe it’s much better to shop at a small business than the big shop stores. Too many of those stores have shut down the mom and Pop small businesses which are the lifeblood of the community. Every day should be small business day because when you support small businesses you support the community and individuals. When you show up at the big box stores you support their stock price and stockholders. Big difference. We shouldn’t Have to have a day to remind us to shop at small businesses.

We have a online magazine. We publish articles three times a week usually two articles at a time. We've do this because of the attention span some people have which is very short and not to overwhelm our readers with a great deal of content. (more) We have a online magazine. Writing a post let alone a blog post is very difficult. I have a cultural arts organization that also has a digital magazine. It takes a team to produce all of the content that we deliver to our readers. It is not something that is easy, but it is something we enjoy doing. Please do not let such ignorance put a damper on your day obviously the person that wrote that did not know what they we're talking about.  Even though the Internet allowed everyone to be able to have their say, that didn’t mean that those people were going to be talented writers.  Most of it is people spewing a lot of garbage.  Usually when you encounter someone like this it’s because they have a small  mentality and it makes them  feel superior to put down someone else’s work.  Just because someone says they are a freelancer doesn’t mean that they are any good or a good judge of high quality content.
