SCIFI.radio began in 2009 when a bunch of friends who frequented a popular online game wanted sci-fi music to listen to while they played. We couldn't find one, so we made it ourselves. We discovered that we were the only ones in that market space, incorporated in 2013 and became profitable by 2015. We've been broadcasting on the internet continuously ever since. We're the longest lived sci-fi genre radio station that's ever been, and apart from occasionaly short-lived competition, we're the only station that uses this format full time. We've developed a strong, loyal online community comprised of listeners from nearly every country on Earth.
