My practice is not conducive to pro bono work. However, I do give breaks in fees in extraordinary circumstances. i.e. If a case gets filed and all I have to do is a couple depositions and a mediation I sometimes cut my fee from 40% to 33.33%.

I am not a business member but I do know about advertising. The reality of the question is how much was the loss. If it was hundreds lawyers will eat that up without you being satisfied. Was there a written contract with specific provisions clearly set forth? That is the key to the...
