Oakland is a family owned and operated business. We are completely fenced, 24/7 access, key pad entry and recording cameras. Lights in every unit and completely paved. We have standard drive up storage and temperature control units along with vehicle parking. We also sell all the moving supplies you will need to make a successful move.

Honestly? It is usually the groom or her mother who helps the daughter with all of the decisions. The Father just pays for it. Well...I have to admit it can be a little irritating when your trying to get your work done and telemarketers keep calling. However, I feel if they are calling my business phone they must want to utilize our services so I greet them as if they are a potential customer and let them know what great... (more) Well...I have to admit it can be a little irritating when your trying to get your work done and telemarketers keep calling. However, I feel if they are calling my business phone they must want to utilize our services so I greet them as if they are a potential customer and let them know what great deals we have on our unit rentals and parking spaces. I think listening to my sales pitch is the least they can do since they called a business phone. Regardless, I am always kind and courteous to everyone. After all, they are only doing their job.

I do love what I do. The people who come to me are genuinely in need. Whether it be in need of simply a place to store Holiday decor, sports equipment, boats, trailers, cars, or furniture, it is still a need. However, it is not always that simple. Sometimes people store things because they are dealing with tragedy in their lives. People often choose to store their belongings when they are dealing with devastation. Perhaps they are recovering from the loss of a loved one or a fire, flood, tornado etc. In this case they are under a lot of stress and need to feel like someone is there for them, and in some cases I am proud to say that someone is me. No matter what the situation, no matter what your job is, you have to think about how it benefits someone. Every single job benefits someone. Re-evaluate the way you think about your job. What ever you do in life, do it as if you were doing it for yourself. Do it as if it is the most important thing in the world at the moment. Far too often, people do a job only for a paycheck and because they have too. Do your best at work because you WANT to. Because the way you do your job at work is telling people who you are as a person. Be true to yourself. Be the best person you can be.

First of all, there are no guarantees concerning people. Unless, you have a certain amount of people in your circle who are always looking for events to attend and will agree to RSVP. All you or anyone you hire to promote your business can do is advertise and pray. There are so many factors... (more) First of all, there are no guarantees concerning people. Unless, you have a certain amount of people in your circle who are always looking for events to attend and will agree to RSVP. All you or anyone you hire to promote your business can do is advertise and pray. There are so many factors involved. There is weather, other events in the area, etc...which could make or break your event. I would contact the promoter first and let them know you are not satisfied with the out come of the event. Tell them you feel you did not get your moneys worth. The right thing for the promoter to do is to either reschedule another event for you free of charge or return some of your money. If they are not willing to do either of these, then I would contact an attorney for help.

I am able to reach out to several businesses, answer questions just like this one and interact with business owners on a daily basis, even if my business is busy. I love Alignable and have met a lot of really nice and helpful people.

Even if you are not able to provide the customer with what they need, you should go above and beyond to help them... Even if you are not able to provide the customer with what they need, you should go above and beyond to help them any way you can. The customer will not forget all you did to assist them and they will refer you to others who you can help. Just remember, a satisfied customer may only refer five people to your business but an unhappy customer will tell people for years if they have a bad experience with you.

I am sure a lot of employers do this, however it is not important what people do in their personal lives as long as it does not filter over into their work life. Everyone, young, old, it does not matter. We all have some kind of issue. Treat others as you want to be treated and you will prosper.
