Mr. Adams Sir., is a 55 year veteran Visionary Artist with Artwork in museums and important collections in nine countries that I know of, since his dealer in Japan with over 200 locations world wide, sold over 3,200 of Loren's Certified limited editions for world record prices. So the nine countries is only based on Loren Adams own personal sales through Lahaina Galleries 7 locations and through his own Studio, Gallery, and Museum locations. Thus, there is no accurate way of knowing how many Artworks he has in how many collections or countries.

How We Got Started

I have always painted since early childhood. My first formal museum exhibit was at the Roseville Center Museum, in Roseville, California, in 1967. That was the same year I quit nursing school and resigned my day job as an emergency room L.P.N. after selling my first painting to my supervisor–I went the next day to the Director of Nursing and resigned.

My first Museum Exhibition and First Ink: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1015505... That was over 54 years ago and I never looked back. Basically I have been making original Art for my entire life, and I'm now making my most exciting work…

(more) Aloha Chuck Casto and all those who helped make Alignable the very best Business/Social site in the US and Canada.  Thank you all for the opportunity to add my encouraging words to all those who have joined Alignable. As most of you know, Alignable is unique because we have been encouraged to engage and interact with others. No other site has prompted this magic formula so successfully. ALL those who have taken the time to fully develop their profiles, with a picture of their smiling face "out front" with a quality presentation that clearly illustrates what their business is, with lots of photos in their Profile Gallery are reaping the rewards of "Good Business." Those who have not taken full advantage of this formula are the only folks who complain about the lack of sales or other aspects of Good Business. I challenge everyone to make the best of this amazing opportunity to find and develop fantastic business relationships with the millions of people who are to be found on Alignable. The secret key, if there is one, is the age old "Golden Rule" of treating all others like you want to be treated. Everyone responds to kindness and a positive up-beat attitude. The whole Alignable team have supplied all the tools necessary for anyone to develop the PROMPTS to engage into fun and success. If you see anyone who needs help with their profiles, offer your support; "This really works." Those who don't ALIGN themselves with this winning formula, have only themselves to hold accountable… please don't shoot the messenger, I am only testifying to "HOW ALIGNABLE WORKS" Sincerely, Loren D. (more) I quit my day job over 54 years ago after my first formal museum exhibition and never looked back. It's as though my destiny was sealed to become successful as an Artist and Fine Art Publisher. Today my work is in Museums and important collections Internationally.  It may be several years before we discover how the Covid Pandemic has effected our business, if and when we think it's at all important to consider. Being a self employed artist has always been a struggle [only if one considers how many of the latest toys one has.] My very fine automobile is 29 years old this year. We did buy new iPhones last year, but we won't need to buy a new model every time one comes out. I do have one Armani suit, IF I need to go to an important meeting, otherwise I 'm happy with Ross's and Costco. Being frugal is important and staying out of trivial pursuit is very important. The most important thing is to "Keep the Faith!" We don't point out the darkness, we light candles! Patronizing other artists and tradesmen in the art world and co-publishers is the most meaningful thing that we do. Many others in the visual arts field feel like we do; "United we Stand." Who's Who Recipient of The Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award -http://www.24-7pressrelease.com/press-release-s... - Staying busy painting! ~ As an artist, having the rest of your activities put on hold, even for months, just means I'll have more time to make Art! It's not just that I'm being more productive, I'm also encouraging others to be more creative as well.  We artists' are used to spending time by ourselves and by showing others that it's okay to busy themselves with creativity will give them peace of mind. For the past month or so I have been doing an "Art-in-Action" and posting my daily progress on an original oil - start to finish, on Facebook and here on Alignable. I'm now 4 days into the second painting with about 100 folks checking in everyday, appreciating my alternative entertainment! Here's the palette I mixed for the sky I'm starting today: It's for my next painting of a 72 ft. Gaff-Rigged Brigantine in a storm at sea… Here's the latest painting I finished on April 21st.  C@2020 - Original oil painting on fine linen 28"x 22" (711 mm x 559 mm) "The Gloria Lee at Sunrise" by Loren D. (more)                                                              Yes & No! - Sort-of, but not really!        It's just my educated guess, but the fact that our digital technological information age is in an accelerated evolution phase that is exponentially entertaining the mind-set that everything is fleeting and highly disposable. This would cause anyone to wonder if there's anything within this new age that has a lasting value for more than 5 minutes.       I can remember a statement made in 1983 by late comedian George Carlin: "Will somebody please explain the real need for one hour photo finishing - you just saw the "bleeping" thing?"       While it is true that lots of things are disposable and lots of them have no meaning beyond the moment in time they're associated with. At the same time, let's remember that many many more people have access to camera's, computers, and even their own printers, or ways to store anything they want on the Cloud.        While the numbers of masses who all want it their way, right away, seem to be leading the way, their influence may not be what it's all cranked up to be. This cross section of society also doesn't usually stay married, keep commitments, or even have anything in life that they consider meaningful, for very long either - Hmmm!       Remember the "Tortoise and the Hare?" Yes there are some "Vanity Press Rags" that used to enjoy the same spot in the lime-light, when the "Baby Boomers" were all mass publishing everything they thought was "the be all and end all of happiness" - these are now the major content of the digital world we're seeing these-days.       There have been many great time honored magazines and periodicals that gave up their spot in the grand parade of media's Hall of Fame, when the personal cell phone and P.C. started to take over the lime-light. Yes, that's true, but, Hard Copy is still the value term to the people it always mattered to. The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Architectural Digest, and several other Icons are still going stronger than ever, by doing both.       The age old term "Publish or Perish" is still a truism for anyone who wishes to be taken seriously must do as these Icons have done and are doing - Publish in Hard Copy and occupy the forefront of the digital world as well. E-books and the digital options available have made communication itself the meaning of this period of accelerated evolution.       This much is certainly true, to be successful one must be able to do both. They must be able to occupy their own space in the digital world and add now; what has become the trophy of the publishing world, the traditional hard copy, as evidence of their achievement.       As an Artist, I can share with you what I told a client in Costco one afternoon. He asked me; "Why should I pay so much money for one of your paintings when I could buy one of these giant screen televisions and see an unlimited number of beautiful images for less money?" I said: "You could buy one so you have something to look at on the days your Cell phone isn't working!"                   Many people are graduating from college and becoming great writers as well as experts in their chosen fields. There are simply more people occupying the spaces that a few hundred people used to occupy. There is a lot less general interest in issues that once seemed to be general entertainment. This means the information age itself has now "grown-up" and "Pat-your-foot" will never again occupy the same lime-light that it did when people were bored. Buy This, Buy This, Buy This - All Publishing ends up being a Platform for Advertising!       What is most concerning is that, like all publishing, people are getting sick-n-tired of every known media being a "Platform for Advertising." Even though the products here are no longer insulting our intelligence, but now they're glorifying the "bait-n-switch!"  This is also just a phase, because, eventually people may stop watching or looking at anything they aren't able to control or turn the pages to.       Yes, there will always be some interest in even stupidity, so there will continue to be a market share for the lame.  Basically society is growing up and becoming enlightened and this means there's not as much interest in anything that isn't enlightening. As for those who could care less about anything but disposable, if you only care for or about disposable, it's likely to be what you get.

(more) Exactly what I'm learning and researching for a future even or even more events…       Wow! We're on the same wavelength with similar questions; how do we find those answers. It seems like everything has the same value and meaning these days. "Pat your foot" can just as easily be touted as something that's actually "exemplary or even great!" What is the solution?        In my case I have discovered a great soprano from another country and I would love to be the one who brings her to the US and Hawaii in particular for a tour. I've heard a lot of voices in my time, and I understand that "I'm no impresario, but I recognize quality.        So far, my list of things to learn about and accomplish are growing every day. I know a few people in high places, and I know I'll need a sponsor with deep pockets. Finding the venues that aren't booked solid for 3 years in advance and hiring a press agent are of course already on my agenda.        The soprano is already quite famous in her own country and she's also the head of the Music Department in a major university. She has many videos and recordings and a great resume and portfolio.        These days, the technological information age has lowered the playing field so as to make anything that is truly outstanding merely as "So What!" Finding out how to make a diamond more obvious on a vast sandy beach is the dilemma, especially since the market is made up of what the ignorant and un-informed demand.        As the dreamer, all I have is an idea and a goal, but without deep pockets, it seems like a remote possibility - and yet, I'm never known to give up on my dreams. Anyone have anything to add to this worthy cause? "I'm all ears!"
