I’m Larry Blackwell and as a licensed clinical social worker in CT, MA and RI, I work with adults and adolescents struggling with a multitude of issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma and substance use. While my treatment is based on clinically proven approaches, I first and foremost recognize the trust my clients are placing in me by sharing their challenges. Subsequently, I believe the first and most important step in therapy is creating a rapport with my clients that results in a non-judgmental environment where they feel safe and supported so that they may address the issues preventing them from living the life they are looking for.
