Dear Abel & Sofi: How Can I Run From Nepotism At A Family Firm?

Been there - twice. Last time,
Paternal owner felt entitled to curse out his employees almost daily. i sure don't miss that.
Eventually went into consulting, flows not as dependable, have to take care of my own benefits but best thing I ever did. Lost 30 pouinds, happy and doing work I love for clients that appreciate it. As I'm now in my sixties, my choices for full-time employment with someone else would be limited anyway but I've made my choice and am not looking back.
In short, YOU are too good for that place and life is more important than work.
