Dog Sitter/Boarder/Visitor
Rule #1 - Only one household of dogs Board at a time. Only dogs who lives together, stays together for safety & stress reasons.
Rule #2 - I insist on a Meet & Greet prior to the date of stay.
Rule #3 - I cannot watch cats because I am allergic to their dander.
Niche #1 - My Ranch house has No Stairs which is perfect for dogs with mobility issues.
Niche #2 - I watch dog breeds others will not. I watch Pittie/Bully breeds, Guard breeds, Large breeds & Giant Breeds.
Holidays, School Breaks and weekends book up first at my house. Please try to book in advance for this Doggie Vacation home!
I have a fully fenced in back yard that gives your pups freedom to sniff around, explore, chase chipmunks, birds and squirrels to their heart's content!
If you live within 10 miles of me, I could stay overnights in your home for House Sitting while watching your dogs.
I live in Marietta, near the East West Connector & Cobb Hospital.
I also can visit your home to let them out into your yard while you are at work or on a day trip.

Being a Dog Sitter is my only job. Most of my days are all about the dogs!
I have experience with Senior dogs and some with health issues.
At the Meet & Greet, I will want to know best practices of what helps them the most.
I don't leave the dogs alone for more than 2-4 hours. I am home most of the time during the week. My Husband and teenage son help with the dogs at home on weekends, evenings & Holidays.
I have watched smaller dogs, but most of my experience & knowledge is of mid-size and larger dogs.
I love to cuddle with dogs, so I hope you allow them on the furniture (after all, it does have "fur" in the name!)
Is your pet up to date on vaccinations (rabies, Bordetella, parvo, distemper), flea prevention, tick treatments, etc.? This is to ensure a safe environment for your and other owners’ pets.
*Have a Dog that needs more attention? I can provide transport to vet/groomer for appointments, or even to attend doggie daycare!
I can even work on reinforcing dog training your furry child(ren).

In 2015, another "Work Force Reduction" eliminated my position as Logistics Coordinator.
I really wanted to find work with a flexible schedule where I could pick up/drop off our son from school, and not have to pay daycare on school vacation days.
Any time I was between jobs over the years, I was dog sitting while job hunting. Dogs are always happy to see me, & I love spending time with them!
We have experience volunteering with Dog Rescue, & previously had two dogs of our own.
My Husband & I discussed the pros & cons, and decided it was a good time for me to start a new career.
Now I set my own schedule, am there more for my family & get to do what I LOVE!
