In 2006 my wife and I bought our first Yorkie his name was Angus McTavish. He was so small, The Runt but we had to have him, he was adorable. Then he started having seizures at 4 months old. We took him to Iowa State Small Animal Hospital..It was a liver shunt causing his seizures, We were excited because it was fixable..So we had to bring him back in a week, this was major surgery..We checked him in that morning, they came out and told us the surgery went well. BUT he was not waking up from anestisea. This little guy Angus had a stroke and never woke up..We have been Blessed by our Yorkie, and started with a couple Yorkies, other people wanted.us to have puppies so they could get one from us..Our puppies and word of mouth is all the advertising we need.
