Connie is an obsessive observer and loves being able to express her positive and joyful view of life from those observations in her art. Painting the interplay of color and light is exciting and one of the welcome challenges she faces to capture and hold the eye of the viewer.
An avid gardener, Connie cultivates this same passion for color in her arbors, paths, and flower gardens. “There is beauty all around me and I love being able to use these inspirations whether it’s on canvas, in my garden or in my home.”

Although Connie has painted most of her life, it wasn’t until 1985 that she set out to become a professional oil artist. She gave herself the gift of two years to develop a defined style of painting. Her signature style, creating fresh vibrant landscapes and warm inviting interiors, emerged quickly. Soon she began selling her paintings through well known galleries. She is now represented in several fine art galleries in the NC, SC areas.
