Apple Ginger can be added to raw apple cider vinegar to make a refreshing and intriguingly healthful drink called "Switchel, drank by farmers working in the fields of years gone by. It is gaining popularity! No sweeteners added. Keeping true to nature we handcraft in micro batches intense fruit forward preserves using less sweeteners while focusing on organic ingredients. Growing most of our own ingredients, we must now expand to support local agriculture to keep up with demand. We make our products in Madison at the FEED Kitchens.
Mary started Jam Berrie as a horticulturist with extra fruit and out of her artistic creativeness. She studied preserves making from experts from France and visited makers in California. Using her own twist to make her products unique while still emphasizing true fruit flavor she developed recipes and attended local farm markets for years attracting a following of dedicated fans.
