First, I make sure my AR/AP sends out another current invoice and then I follow up with a personal visit. Usually that is all it takes. If we do not receive payment after my visit, I put a hold on their account and they can no longer order until payment is received.

I strongly encourage seeking out smaller local businesses that still employ an experienced and knowledgeable workforce!
I think it goes well beyond dropping price, plus once you offer them a great price, you are stuck. It's more about offering the type of service that makes the client look beyond price! Give them honesty and integrity and help provide solutions for whatever issues they have had with your...

The key is being attentive to the clients wants/needs. Do some research into the company's products/services so that you are not walking in blindly and listen to the issues that they are currently experiencing so that you can provide some educated feedback. It is imperative to respond quickly! ...

It is imperative to respond quickly! Communication builds trust. Relationships are built on trust and lack of communication is why the client agreed to let you through the door in the first place.

Unfortunately it is hard to track business generated from "air" and advertising can get expensive; that being said though, getting your name/word out is priceless!

Bleach obviously has great kill efficacy, however it can also do damage to surfaces and has a level of harmful VOC's. There are several "green" products now that are very effective, but you have to know what type of soils and surfaces you are trying to clean so as not to do damage or leave...

There are several "green" products now that are very effective, but you have to know what type of soils and surfaces you are trying to clean so as not to do damage or leave residue build up. Read the directions for proper dilutions and dwell times to be most effective. Also, disposal of green chemicals is much easier and safer.
We are a Janitorial, Sanitary, Packaging, and Safety supply distribution house in Meadville, PA. Not sure where you are located, but there are several distributors similar to us throughout the country.
