There area lot of great ideas here, but one of the things I always say is make sure your baseline marketing is set up online. This includes things like social pages (Facebook, nextdoor, etc.) and your Google My Business. If you use your Google My Business correctly it can make a huge difference. Join groups on Facebook and look for people posting for recommendations. From there networking and referral rewards for current customers can be huge. Feel free to connect if I can help in anyway.

That depends on the type of business you have. There are a lot of options out there that have different features. Before you make a decision make sure you ask yourself what features would make your life easier, easier for your customers and in the end make you more money. As others in this...

Before you make a decision make sure you ask yourself what features would make your life easier, easier for your customers and in the end make you more money. As others in this thread, I do work with Thryv, but I know that might not be the best fit depending on your needs...or it might be. Feel free to connect if a conversation could help isolate your needs.

GMB is so important! I work with businesses to automate postings to GMB so that they can set it and forget it. I do the same with mine.

As mentioned in other posts you have to make it simple for the consumer. Places with the most reviews have automated systems that send a link in the form of a text or email to their customer. Feel free to connect if you re interested in seeing how this process works. I work with a system...

A little late to the game on this one, but I work for a CRM system company called Thryv, so I have run into my share of systems. The right CRM and how much it is filled out depends on your business. Most CRMs are different in their capabilities, and in many cases people use more than one just to get everything they need. Thryv, for instance, helps with everything from storing files, to texting invoices, to managing your social...yes those are very different things, but this is why people end up with so many systems. One for billing, one for reviews, one for email marketing...it gets messy so do your research and make sure you find what is right for you. If I can help, feel free to reach out.

Set up your baseline first. Don't worry about ads etc. just make sure you have your business information in line and listed in every free spot possible (especially Google My Business). Keep branding consistency when setting up your social profiles and fill them out as thoroughly as possible. Social profiles are not just about posting. It's about engagement, post at min. 2x a week and ask family and friends to comment and share as you are getting started. Make sure you have a website that not only looks nice, but is also coded properly. Once all of that is in place then you can decide if you should be utilizing ad platforms etc.

There are lots of ways to do this. Best really depends on a few things. But without having full conversation I would recommend a few basics. -Free/low-cost Baseline marketing: set up your GMB, Facebook, IG, Nextdoor etc., optimize, post and share regularly (even in yard sale groups), ask...

But without having full conversation I would recommend a few basics. -Free/low-cost Baseline marketing: set up your GMB, Facebook, IG, Nextdoor etc., optimize, post and share regularly (even in yard sale groups), ask friends and family to help with engagement, create a low cost referral program, join networking groups and make sure you have a website that works. Increased Budgets: Digital Ads (google, FB etc. or a blended lead generation program). print like val-pack or community catalogs, hire a social guru.

I would say the best investment is on making the free options manageable. Social media, GMB, email marketing, websites, review generation etc. are all great ways to build your business without spending a lot of money. The challenge is that they are time-consuming. If you cannot afford a full-on ad agency, then invest in a way to better manage the free options. That being said, I have to disclose that I work for Thryv, so I might be a bit biased, but I have seen it make a huge difference for clients. Feel free to connect if you are open for a conversation...not a sales pitch...just a conversation. :)
