Hopson Communications & Coaching is a business coaching, consulting, and public speaking firm that offers managerial training programs focused on the development of entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals. Edward Hopson, Sr. has 25 years of experience working with small businesses as a business banker, financier, and consultant. Hopson has also won awards from former Ohio Governor George Voinovich, GM, and Toastmasters International. Hopson has a radio show and podcast and has been featured on television news programs and print media both local and national for his various financing and business development projects. Hopson holds two undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Management, he is a Certified Business Analyst by the Ohio Department of Development, a member of the Cleveland Society of Human Resource Management, the Association for Quality (ASQ), and is expecting to earn his Master's Degree by December of 2019. Hopson's first book, Education and Economic Empowerment: Developing Your Strength & Stability will be published in August of 2020. Hopson is certified in Microenterprise Development by the Ohio CDC Association, a graduate of multiple Dale Carnegie training programs, and is a former real estate investor who maintains a real estate license to help clients with unique real estate needs.

My mother was a business owner in downtown Akron in the 1960's when she was in her early 20's. She always encouraged me to have my own business from cutting grass and doing odd jobs, to starting a computer business at 18 years old, and then a successful marketing/PR firm when I was only 21 years old. I actually had employees and significant clients such as; Weathervane Playhouse, ACME Grocery stores, and Porthouse Theatre Company at that young age. So, after spending several years in corporate America in business banking, professional sales, mortgage lending, and real estate investing. I have found my real and best purpose and mission -Business Coaching, Consulting, and Training.
