I've been an active agent/broker since 1992 and find that real estate is an amazing challenge; Therefore, I would not call our career easy but addictive. I used to tell my agents that it gets in your blood….it becomes a part of you. I love the challenge and the satisfaction of making visions, dreams come true and seeing what seemed impossible become possible. You have to be on top of your game to be successful. We touch the lives of many people therefore it’s important that we become experts (yet personable) knowing the legal aspects and directing our customers/clients properly in completing their transaction whether it’s a standard active listing , short sale/ foreclosure, rental or buyer’s agency. When I became an active agent I vowed to become an agent that would be knowledgeable of the real estate laws and regulations, listen to my customers/clients yet direct them in the proper way to achieve the American dream of home ownership. As you know, we spend hours on most transactions because no two transactions are alike; Yet I find it rewarding to see that I have accomplished the task set before me when my customer/client picks up the blue ink pen to sign on the dotted line(s) with joy beaming from their face(s) as I hand over the key to their dream.
