I think we have made a BIG MISTAKE giving the govoner and the rest of the beauocrats the power to DECIDE what should be open and what should be closed-BIG MISTATE. Now they have the POWER to do whatever they want and is most cases they dont't have a clue. I think the churches made the biggest mistake of all when they ALLOWED the government to shut down all churches Easter Sunday-BIG MISTAKE. Too bad the Catholics and the Lutherns did not stand up to those in POWER and insist on having services WITHOUT interference. I hope some big instutions will stand up to these POWER HUNGARY tyrants (maybe the NFL). Major league baseball was too weak to stand up and say no we will play our season (BIG MISTAKE). Sorry for the spelling but you see where I'm coming from! Thanks

I went to my local bank and was told I had to go to the bank web site. My bank has over 400 branches and I have ZERO relationship with any officers as I have never borrowed money from this bank in the past 20 years. When I want to the web site I filled a 4 line "request" for a loan application. I was told someone would call "in a few days". I thought Oh Oh here we go but WOW was I wrong. The loan officer called me in 2 days- we had the loan application in the next day and was approved the day after that and had the money wired into my account 2 days later. Everything was done on the phone and E-mail with a loan officer that I have never met and he was helpful all the way through the process. I am 100% satisfied with the process and the results.

Last week we connected our internet sales promotion with the Red Cross Blood Drive happening in the mall about 50 yards outside our door. This week we are working with the local food shelf on our internet promotion. We are collecting food at our store and we will make a cash donation to the food shelf at the end of the day based on our internet sales. Hopefully it will be win win for everyone!!!

The best salesman that ever worked for our company was an expert at greeting the customer. When the customer entered the store he would asked them four or five question BEFORE anything was ever mentioned about furniture. First he would greet them with a BIG-welcome to our store. Second-where are you folks from-then no matter where it was he would tell a short story relating to their town ( my daughter played tennis there two weeks ago) or some other truthful event. Third-have you been in our store before-if the answer was no he would explain a little bit about our store-if the answer was yes he would say-happy to see you back here! Fourth-he might say how did you hear about our store and then depending on the answer he might start to sell or depending on the answer he may probe some more. He might tell the customer about a SPECIAL sale going on now or a special FINANCING offer and THEN he might probe the customer and ask what they were looking for and most of the time the customer would say yes we are looking for 2 new recliners or whatever. This guy was neatly dressed, always had a big smile and when he said "welcome to our store" he always reached out to the customer with his arms raised and palms up. Always smiling and laughing!
