About Us
Hello, welcome to my profile! Do you require metal for a project, repair, maintenance, prototype or know someone that does? Perhaps you'd like a custom fabrication project made for you? We can help!
AZ METALS, located in Mesa, AZ was founded by Jill & Doug Cone in January 2011. The company serves the Phoenix area and beyond, offering prime wholesale and retail services, including cut to size metal orders and a focus on small bundle quantities. AZ METALS is proud to be recognized as an Arizona procured vendor and an accredited business with an A+ rating from the BBB.
The company's expertise and quality services were featured in the A2Z Manufacturing magazine. AZ METALS serves a wide range of customers, from large industrial maintenance departments to the home hobbyist. They offer a vast selection of materials in all shapes and custom fabrication services, including shearing, sawing, bending, notching, drilling, punching and welding.
AZ METALS delivers valley wide and beyond and offers a Veteran discount or a retail coupon, and wholesale discounts for volume orders. They are members of industry associations, including the Valley Metal Club and are on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Chapter of MSCI (Metals Service Center Institute).
Jill joined Alignable in 2017 and has been named Small Businessperson of the Year in 2018, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025, #1 Local Main Street Mentor Mesa 2021, and #1 U.S. Mentor 2021, in addition to being a Community Supporter every year. Jill is also an Ambassador for the Alliance of Phoenix Metro.

How We Got Started
After completing a 10-year metal franchise agreement my husband, Doug, & I decided to open our own metal supply business and AZ Metals was born in January 2011. Doug has been in the metal industry since the 1980's and I, after 21 years as a Registered Nurse, decided I was ready to change career paths. After 12 successful years of growth, we decided to expand and opened a "sister" metal supply business, New Mexico Metals LLC, in Albuquerque in June 2022. New Mexico Metals offers the same services that we offer in Mesa (minus full fabrications). http://www.newmexico-metals.com
